MacGyver Seasons One and Two on DVD
April 11, 2005
Before there was Google, there was MacGyver
Back in the 80's, around the time of "cool" mullets, pegged jeans, and Members Only jackets, there was no such thing as Google. And with no Google, there was non Googling. However, there was MacGyver. And, oh yes, there was definitely MacGyvering. (Similarly, before there was a Colonel Jack O'Neill of Stargate SG-1, there was MacGyver... but that's somewhat less impressive.)
Anyhoo, now's the perfect time to go into Richard Dean Anderson overload by stocking up on MacGyver and Stargate television episodes on DVD. While the MacGyver season one boxset is reportedly disappointingly void of special features (no word on season two yet), the collection of episodes themselves ought to be enough to make any fanboy giggle with glee as one can only get but so much of their fix from TV Land and Spike TV.
