Dear Newmoanyeah,
I belong to one of the remote villages in India. I am in love with a girl but this girl does not seem to be having open communication with regards to her ex partners or life. How can I know without asking her that she is not a virgin (I cannot practice sex with her). How can I know without hurting her feelings whether she had used contraceptives earlier or had been pregnant earlier.
She surely has with guys earlier but. I hope ur advice will help me and will be very helpful for my mental peace. Please. I cannot take her to gynacologist as she and her ex are very smart at setting things clear. Please I hope u can help me knowing the truth cos I am not yet totally commited to her. Virginity means a lot to my house and customs here perhaps u can help me make a decent choice.

Have you tried asking her directly? You can't beat around the bush here...no pun intended. Of course, even if you ask her how can you know she isn't lying? There's only one way to find out the truth, I'm afraid: kidnap and torture all her ex-boyfriends.

Well, here in the western world, it doesn't really matter one way or the other. Seeing as you live in India; however, things are obviously different. I guess you have to ask yourself what is more important to you: your house or this girl. Clearly they're already in conflict and no amount of finding anything out will change that.
It's not really a matter of how to find out who she's slept with. It's really a matter of whether or not you can handle her answer.
(Or, roll a d20. On a 2-19, she's slept with other guys. On a natural 20, she's a virgin. On a natural 1, she's your sister.)

Well, besides customs and beliefs, her past sexual behavior might put you at risk for all sorts of STDs; try to explain that to her. If she won't get tested, you might have to let this one go. However, if she does decide to talk to you about this and go to a doctor, and it turns out she has had sexual relationships in the past, but is healthy, you might want to think about what you would be losing if you left her. If you love her like you say you do, you might want to consider that she's the same person you love whether she's had sex before or not.

Honestly, if some girl understands you enough (literally) to have sex with you, you need to just go for it, no questions asked. Because, really, based on your email, I see very little hope for sex with another partner in your future.
