Teen Titans Toys

Jennifer buying toys? Again?
Teen Titans toys by BandaiThe Teen Titans cartoon-based action figures and toys have finally hit the shelves of your favorite retailer. Bandai has the license and has begun to make several different lines for kids and comic fans to pick up.

My favorites so far are the two pack sets. At 3.5 inches and $2.99 a set they are a really good deal. They can play nicely with your GI Joe's and other smaller toys.

WTF?
For some strange reason Starfire and Raven both come with guns. Don't ask my why the two characters who can create energy/magic from their bodies through their hands needed GUNS. The only one who does use any kind of gun/cannon is Cyborg. (Dummies.)

These same toys also come with flying vehicles. Again, Starfire and Raven don't need these as they can fly on their own. I don't think the people who made these toys have ever watched the show. What a waste of plastic.

There's also a Beast Boy that turns into a cat. Not that impressive as the transforming isn't that great and the figure doesn't transform completely.

They prefer to be called little people
And finally they have these tiny Titans that are 1.5 inches and have that very Japanese animated looks about them. They are sold in sets and are nice as they come with villains as well as the team. So now you have some bad guys to fight.

Now I have to wait for Aqualad (voiced by Wil Wheaton). I would also like them to make more of the villains in 1.5 scale. I'll have to wait and see what they do with this line. I think it's off to a good start.

More fun Titan stuff!
Here's direct link to Bandai's Teen Titan site. I'm saving you from having to look at the Power Rangers crap and Hello Kitty.

You should also check out Marv Wolfman's site. Wolfman is the creator of this version of the team and has created over 70 other comic characters (Blade, Bullseye, and Black Cat to name a few). If you scroll down, you can see most of the voice cast for the show, including my bud Wil!

Who would you most like to see as the lead in Joss Whedon's Wonder Woman movie?
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Eliza Dushku
Sandra Bullock
Aria Giovanni
Summer Glau
Eva Longoria
Evangeline Lilly
Lynda Carter
