Road Squadron

It's not just a bad pun anymore...
H-wingStar Wars fans tend to be a bit... well, fanatical, shall we say. Several of Newmoanyeah's staff even belong to this select group of geeky individuals *cough* Editor Steve *cough*. Usually, however, their inner Star Wars drive is reigned in by a significant other that tempers their fanaticism with a quiet dose of reality.

However, sometimes, just once in a while, you get a significant other that not only fails to restrain the individual but in fact potentiates it, taking their inner warp drive to a whole new galaxy. To that end, I now give you: Road Squadron.

Impressive. Most impressive.
Road Squadron is comprised of a group of creative individuals who have decided to re-design their cars into various Star Wars vehicles.

Yes, you read that right.

The most impressive of these is the "H-Wing" (above), a 1995 Honda Civic modeled to look like an A-Wing starfighter. The detail, both inside and outside, is quite impressive from the dashboard control panel to the side door lasers (which really should be a staple on all two door sedans, especially on the LA freeway).

You can check out the other models on the Road Squadron website and you may get a chance to see the finished products at a car show near you. Who knows, maybe they'll make you look at your old station wagon in a whole new light. Now, where can I find myself a pair of blasters ... Hmmm...

Who would you most like to see as the lead in Joss Whedon's Wonder Woman movie?
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Eliza Dushku
Sandra Bullock
Aria Giovanni
Summer Glau
Eva Longoria
Evangeline Lilly
Lynda Carter
