A friendly reminder
Free Comic Book Day was moved to July 3rd, in the hopes that Spiderman 2 hype will help get more people into comic book stores. Unfortunately, there won't quite be the wide variety of books that were given away last year. It's a bit of a shame as they had a good selection of independent minded comics last year. So, check out your local store to see what comics they are going to get in stock. Great way to get a free book, check out your local shop, and meet new people! So, mark your calendars stop off during the holiday weekend.

... If you happen to live in Des Moines, the Iowa Comic Book Club will be hosting their annual convention on June 27th. Yes, that's in IOWA for those of you who have never been west of the Mississippi River. Go check out the guest list and events for the day.
