I've seen plenty of cool stuff on FanFilms section of TheForce.net. And I've seen plenty of well choreographed, well edited, and well produce lightsaber duels. But not until recently did I see something that I thought, "Damn! This would make everyone at the Shaw Brothers studio proud!"
Seeing as how you already know I loved this fan film, I'm just going to give you the top ten reasons why you should go check it out:
- Decent use of "music by Hans Zimmer and a monologue extracted from an authentic Civil War love letter written in 1861".
- They managed to make plastic Hasbro lightsabers look like the real McCoy.
- Is there anything better than Jedi vs. Sith?
- The film is dedicated to their parents.
- The shooting location looks like freaking Endor (without the Ewoks) (or some place from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon).
- No needless dialog.
- It gives the Star Wars Video Kid something to shoot for.
- Great finishing move!
- Clever and original choreography that would even please Jackie Chan and Yuen Woo Ping.
- It's completely produced by three Ho's (Clarance, Calvin, and Cary... hey I'm Chinese, I can make jokes like that).

Make sure you watch the finished product. The proof of concept is cool, too... but you REALLY want to see the polished junk.
