Gotham Girls Flash Cartoons
by Jennifer Saylor, Comic Conventional Staff Writer
June 23, 2003 + Des Moines, IA

Bat-tastic
Gotham GirlsOne of the coolest things The WB has had on their site is a series of Batman-related cartoon shorts. They started producing them a few years ago and showcased them on the Warner Bros. Website. The toons have nearly the same quality animation as you would see on the WB cartoons on TV (Batman/Superman) and are well written; only the gals are the focus. Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Batgirl make up the main characters.

What are you waiting for!
So go and check out the girls in action. Right now they have a ten-episode story arc.

I wish they would put these all on DVD. Or better yet, put them on Cartoon Network as a full-fledged show.

Gotham Goodies
And if you're looking for some more stuff to download to your computer, check out the Loot section of the site (chock full of screensavers and other stuff). They also have games for you to play as you wait for the Flash cartoons start, just in case you don't have high-speed Internet access.

Who would you most like to see as the lead in Joss Whedon's Wonder Woman movie?
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Eliza Dushku
Sandra Bullock
Aria Giovanni
Summer Glau
Eva Longoria
Evangeline Lilly
Lynda Carter
