They Kick Ass - Literally?
I am a casual Buffy viewer, at best. It's not that I haven't enjoyed the shows that I've seen, ("Hush" actually creeped the hell out of me!), it was just that I was commited to too many other shows to add one more to my agenda. But while one can watch too many hours of TV (yes Steve, one can), one cannot own too many shoes. Especially a unique eye-catching, ass-kicking pair of Fluevogs.
I don't think Buffy ever actually wore a pair like these, (hard-core Buffy fans, please correct me if I'm wrong), but rather they were "inspired" by Buffy. I think Fluevog did a great job of capturing the spirit of what a slick-dressed slayer may wear out for a night of clubbing capped of with some demon/vampire/undead fist-fighting kung fu action. But as with so many things, the look has a price. They hurt like a bitch after 20 minutes of walking, and after an hour or so, you are disabled. But as you are writhing around the floor in pain, or crawling down Mass Ave on your hands and knees because there is NO WAY you are taking another step in these boots, you can still look pretty bad ass.
