 Battle Royale is an extremely disturbing, yet entertaining flick about a bunch of rowdy junior high school kids who are forced (by the government) to battle each other to death. Rather than rehash Johnathan's most excellent BR review, this plug is here to give you the heads-up that the import Director's Cut DVD is available.
This movie will never be shown in mainstream theaters in the U.S. and there will probably never be a legitimate remake (a la The Ring... BR would never make it past the censors), so you might as well buy the import DVD now from Poker Industries.
