A Strip about an Animal Sanctuary
Top ten reasons why you should read a strip-style comic book about an animal sanctuary published by Image Comics.
- Main character Brandy was inspired in part by Lynda Carter.
- There's a wiener dog named Oscar.
- PvP character guest appearances.
- There's a male chauvinist pig who's really a pig.
- Classic mushy love story that even men can appreciate.
- Really REALLY good art! Creator Frank Cho could draw ANYTHING and make it look amazing.
- Brandy is positively drool-inspiring for both her physical attributes and her personality.
- Easy story to get into without having to know 25 thousand years worth of comic book back-history.
- Funnyfunnyfunny!
- Liberty Meadows had a moment of silence after R.A. Salvatore's Star Wars novel Vector Prime killed Chewbacca.
So, Editor Steve's Star Wars obsession snuck in this plug. [Frank Cho draws a great lower half of a Tauntaun, too!] Seriously though, Liberty Meadows is an ultra-entertaining book that ought to appeal to an extremely broad audience.
