This is Why I Never Call Home More Than Once a Week

Lisa's the six year old in the McDonald's red and yellow tutu.

Lisa: Hey Mom, it's me.
Lisa's Mom: Oh. What's wrong? Why are you calling?
Lisa: Nothing's wrong Mom, I just had a question.
Lisa's Mom: Well I already talked to you yesterday.
Lisa: I know, I just wanted to ask you for a favor.
Lisa's Mom: Oh, so everything's ok?
Lisa: Yes, fine. I just wanted to know if you had a picture of me doing ballet at McDonald's.
Lisa's Mom: (long pause)
Lisa: Hello? Mom?
Lisa's Mom: I'm here. You want a picture of what? What for? What made you think of that?
Lisa: I was telling a friend about it and I thought it would be funny to get a picture.
Lisa's Mom: That's really why you called? Are you sure everything is ok? Oh, I taped Monk for you the other night. Were you calling about that?

After much cajoling, and then a good deal of reminiscing, Mom finally accepted that I really just wanted the pictures. A few days later, I rushed to the mailbox to be rewarded with this:

Not sure if you would like more exercise tapes, but bought 3 Richard Simmons. All are Blast-Off! Latin, Disco and Mega Mix. At .50 a tape at a garage sale they should be worth a try. Dated 2001 so fairly new. I'll give them a watch and maybe learn the routines so we can exercise together.

Read the back of your swim picture. Just had to buy disco exercise tape!

Need help with Jumble (The word puzzle, which was cut out of Sunday's comics for me - L) ask on Sunday.

P.S. - Oh, almost forgot. The 'recital' was reserved tables for family and friends and did include candles on tables. Large turnout.

P.S.S. - Yes!! You did dance everywhere, anywhere & anytime. Sang and danced - and conducted the music. Multi-talented.
