Classic Nerd Babe
Okay, so Hermione isn't exactly your quintessential hottie. But, she might be considered quite the catch for brainy nerd types. And heck, not to be gross or anything, but I bet actress Emma Watson will be quite the looker in about five to ten years.

For the purposes of this article, let us speculate "What if Hermione were older?" from a few "logical" points of view:

1. What will Hermione be like by year seven at Hogwarts in the books?
2. What would Hermione be like in real life at age 18-21?
3. What would an older Hermione be like played by Eliza Dushku?

Year Seven in the Books
Prediction... Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger's Moonlighting-esque relationship will eventually lead to a romance that ought to have been apparent from the begining. Meanwhile, Hermione remains the know-it-all good girl that she is while graduating as valedictorian of her Hogwarts class. She also probably persues a career as a Hogwarts professor.

In Real Life
Prediction... If Hermione lived in the real world, she'd probably be one of those plain brainy chicks who blossoms into a total looker in college. Having spent so many years being a goody goody, she'd end up having a breakout year hooking up with random wizards at magic dance clubs.

If Played by Dushku
Prediction... If post-apocalyptic/dark future Harry Potter movie were made (a la Mad Max or the Dark Knight comic book storyline) Hermione might be the wallflower-ish girl who became the surprisingly tough and adaptable power babe. She'd be kicking ass with her magic wand and taking names... looking very sexy all the while. I think Eliza Dushku would be a great fit. (If I hear any complaints that she's not nerdy enough, then you're entirely missing the point here).

In any event, I'm pretty much done rambling since, after all, this article was little more than an excuse to talk about Eliza Dushku.
