Star Wars Kid Video
by Joel Why, Curious Staff Writer

Rotund Jedi
random Star Wars posterHave you guys seen the Star Wars Kid video or heard the story about it? Some kid filmed himself playing "Jedi Knight," and someone from his high school found the tape and put it on the internet. It's since been downloaded like a trillion times, edited to add special effects, etc... and the kid hired a lawyer because it's so embarrassing. Man, it's fucking hilarious!

There's actually more to this story. After it came out, some guys put up a website to raise money for the kid... they raised enough to buy him an iPod and a gift certificate. Still no word if there's enough cash there to buy him a life or not. [Now now, before the geeks of the world boycott Newmoanyeah, I'd just like to state that we say what we say in jest... afterall, we're the ones trying to make geekiness hip. On top of that, I could totally have seen Mr. Why and I making a similar video in high school. ;) - Ed.]
