SO... DAMN... GOOD!!!
[Editor Steve here with an intro. Scattagoric Missie is about to move to Virginia at the end of this week. Despite this, she managed to find time to bake me my all time favorite cookie. The ultra-fantastic Chocolate Crinkle! They're almost like crack.
I'd like to thank Missie for this last batch of Crinkles. I'd also like to thank Lisa's old roomie Laura for introducing me to Crinkles. And I'd like to thank Lisa for continuing to supply me with Crinkles. Much appreciation and admiration for all who wield the power of the Crinkle!]
Go bake these now!
2 cups & 2 tbsp all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup margarine, softened
1¾ cup sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 squares (1 oz each) unsweetened chocolate, melted
½ cup powdered sugar
Mix dry ingredients, set aside.
Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs. Add vanilla and melted chocolate. Gradually add in flour mixture. Refrigerate 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 F. Shape dough into 1¼ inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes. Cool on racks.
