Who are you? we have the same last name. I was playing around on the internet and came across your sight. Weird! You do seem busy here but if you have time e-mail me. There are not too many Montanino's around that are not related. I\'m in California but my family is from New York. Anyway your sight is pretty cool something my husband will totally love to look at. Angry Staff Writer Justin Montanino

A few months ago you wrote the above letter to the website Newmoanyeah.com which I write for. My apologies for the (extremely!) late reply, but I was happy to receive your letter. Anyway, I'm not sure if we're related or not. I live in NY, my grandfather was Rocco Montanino, the boxer. And I do have family in California, my aunt and uncle Michael and Debbie Montanino, and my cousins Michael and Jordan Montanino. They're in Northern CA. I have about a million aunts and uncles who I don't really know (Donald, Anna...?), and have no idea as to who my ancestors in Italy were, or where they came from. It's something I wish I knew more about, but my family has always been very fragmented and many of us have lost touch. For those of my family that I do know, I have every reason to be proud of their character and accomplishment, so I bear my name with pride, if only there was more information to fill in the gaps.
