Dear Newmoanyeah:
Right now in the JLA comic, they're romantically pairing Batman and Wonder Woman. Wouldn't Superman be a better choice despite being married to Lois Lane?
Sincerely,
Diana Kent

Dear Ms. Kent:
I'd say Clark should just put a tiara and red, white & blue panties on Lois, and no one would be the wiser. What should be asked is whether Batman will be able to choose between Wonder Woman and Catwoman. Then again, all of the women in this scenario are black-haired (no matter what Batman Returns may tell you), so any one could dress up like the other interchangeably to 'tug on Superman's cape'.

Dear Ms. Kent:
Hell, yes! That would be even better than Stephanie Plum's Batman-Ranger-Mike Richter fantasy! I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it...
I have to say, I can't see Lois Lane OR Wonder Woman minding at all!

Dear Ms. Kent:
Honestly, I love this pairing. Joe Kelly did a great job building up their comraderie before the kiss. So, intellectually, I think it's an interesting exercise to see if it would make any sense. It's one of the only reasons that I'm still really interested in the book. (I miss Plastic Man and I could give ten craps less about John Stewart.)
On the flip side, Jim Lee has got a nice thing going between Batman and Catwoman. (Whatever happened to Bruce Wayne's bodyguard/costumed side-kick/romantic interest, though?)
Superman is married. Let him be teh goody goody boyscout that he is. (Then again, Superman having an affair WOULD be interesting...)

Dear Ms. Kent:
Should WW and Bats be a couple? Nope; I'll give you 3 reasons:
1. Bruce has a terrible history of never being able to commit to a relationship. Hell, that's one of the few things they got right in the Batman movies.
2. Diana has had a few boyfriends in the past, but who cares? Funny thing is, WW books were never romance comics -- if I wanted to read those, I'd get a bunch of golden/silver age romance comic books or, dare I say it, buy some of those "novels".
3. Kingdom Come. This Elseworld book (Elseworld essentially equating to "what if") was so popular, it has pretty much became the dogma of what WILL happen. I won't spoil it for you, but Diana isn't with the Dark Knight by the end of the book.
I chalk this up to yet another publicity stunt to try to get the readers to pick up the book.
